M27 (Dumbbell Nebula in Vulpecula)

Location: Elizabeth, CO. Mag 5.0 skies, elevation ~ 6500 ft
Telescope: 16" f/4.8 Newtonian, Pegasus Optics primary, working at f/9.8
Mount: Mathis Instruments MI-500 w/ AP1200 computer control
Exposure Duration: 

Luminance = Total 240 mins, -15 deg C

Color = Total 24 mins, -15 deg C

Imager: Luminance = ST-10XME, color = ST2000XCM
Filtration, etc:

Luminance = Ha filter made by stacking Custom Scientific luminance filter and Wratten #29 dark red glass filter. 2" TeleVue PowerMate used to go to f/9.8 (e.f.l. = 3983 mm)

Color = 3" Wynne/Keller coma corrector mounted to front of XCM, no filter

Guiding: Luminance = AO-L guided at ~10 Hz, Color = normal self guided
Seeing: Good, ~3"
Comments:

Luminance = Subimages (8 min) median combined in sets of three in Maxim. Medians summed, 50% DDP, Curves adjustment, saved as 16 bit TIF. Opened in CCDStack, 50 iterate PC deconvolution performed

Color = Data obtained at f/4.9, calibrated in CCDOps, color converted in Maxim, median combined. Colorizing XCM image and ST-10 luminance image registered in Registar. Final HaRGB assembly in CCDStack
